| I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas. I know I'm looking forward to our first Christmas with little Gwen. It'll really be a neat experience.

| Well, I came back to work yesterday. It wasn't as hard to leave Gwen as I thought it would be. Of course, she's with my mom, so I don't have to leave her in a day care center. She's been doing really well at night. She has been going down between 9 and 10 and she usually doesn't wake up until 2 or 3. Then she's up again when I'm ready to get up. She's starting to smile more in response to things we're doing (not just gas). The result is lots of silly faces and sounds from Mommy and Daddy. The dog probably thinks we're crazy.

| Well, I had my baby on Tuesday morning. At 1:26 in the morning to be exact. She was delivered by C-section, which was not planned. Her heartrate was dropping and they didn't like how she was tolerating the contractions. I'm glad they decided to do that because not only was I worried about her, but I also didn't like how I was tolerating the contractions.
Anyway, she is beautiful. She looks like her daddy and she has a head full of thick, dark brown hair. We've had a few rough nights since we've been home from the hospital, but she's doing much better and sleeping longer in her crib.

| I just checked out my husband's website, where he has a countdown to my due date (pretty cool). And I realized that there are only 20 days left. I also realized that half of that is how many days of work I have left. So yay for me and baby Gwen! I can't wait to hold her! | | |
| Sorry to those of you who visit my blog and all I ever talk about is being pregnant. It's just that very little else had occupied my mind lately. And at least I'm posting something, right?
Anyway, three more weeks till I'm considered full term! Five more weeks till my due date! I'm getting pretty excited/nervous at this point. I had a wonderful shower this past weekend (the 26th). Friends and family gave me, Jeremy, and baby Gwen some great gifts. Thank you to my mom, Lori, Loni and Linda for your hard work. It was wonderful.
I spent the rest of the weekend putting everything away and getting the nursery organized. It looks so good. I cleaned most of the baby clothes so they're ready for her to use and I sterilized the bottles and pacifiers.
I think Belle is starting to get nervous. She wants to visit the baby's room from time to time because she knows something is happening in there. I think she's going to be in for a shock, but I'm sure she'll be fine. Poor puppy. | | |
